This was not the year we had in mind when we started playing rugby. I hope that you have all kept yourself safe and healthy. In the past, we have offered Sunday Touch Rugby as a way to get together and introduce new players to the game of rugby. Right now under USA Rugby and California Guidelines, I see no way for this to happen until more restrictions are lifted. We hope to have a season this year with Mother Lode training beginning as early as December.
Rugby NorCal has put together a proposed schedule, which is available here. They are offering boys and girls High School 7s to run concurrently with U10, U12, and Middle School Boys. This in turn would be followed by a 15s schedule for High School Boys, High School Girls, and Middle School Girls 7s.
This is what we hope to happen. Take care of yourself. Stay tuned, I hope we can return to the pitch.
