Motherlode Rugby is transitioning from a successful 15's season into our Summer 7's season. 7's is an even faster paced game that is played in the Olympics. Practices will begin in May and tournaments are Saturday's beginning in June. This is a great opportunity for experienced players to stay in shape and learn more about this exciting style of rugby. Welcome to the 2023-2024 Season of Mother Lode Rugby. We look forward to the new season with you. Mother Lode Rugby began as Oak Ridge Rugby Club in 1996 with a high school boys team and has blossomed into what we have today.
Practices have begun at Ponderosa High School 3661 Ponderosa Rd, Shingle Springs. It's not too late to join!
- U10, U12, MS Boys Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7:30 PM
- MS and HS Girls Wednesdays 6-8:00 PM
- HS Boys Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 7-8:30 PM
- Games will begin no sooner than January 6th, 2024. Game schedules are still being drafted and will be communicated to each team.

You may not participate in contact drills without being registered with USA Rugby.
We use TeamSnap for the majority of our communication, once registered with the club, you will be added.
A Storied Tradition
Celebrating 29 years of community rugby! The past few seasons we exceeded our expectations with a state title, multiple regional titles. We are dedicated to making the most of each season and welcome players of all ages.
